On May 5, 2012, PfP supporters "took to the road" and enjoyed a fun evening at the Moto Museum to help fund core mental health services.
Get Your Moto Running II raised over $58,000, which will assist thousands of people to identify and pursue their individual paths to recovery.

Each year, Places for People’s charity golf tournament raises around $50,000 to support core mental health services.
In 2011, more than 120 golfers enjoyed a great day of golf at the beautiful, scenic Missouri Bluffs Golf Club on Friday, Sept. 23. Places for People is very grateful to everyone who made the day such a wonderful success: our sponsors, players, committee members, volunteers, and the Missouri Bluffs staff.

On Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Moto Museum in Grand Center, over 160 people came out to support Places for People at this year's Places 2011: Get Your MOTO Running! We are pleased to announce this year's event was our most successful to date raising over $95,000, helping us partner with thousands of individuals living with mental illness on their road to recovery.
Special thanks to the evening's Honorary Chairs' Alison and John Ferring as well as all our event Co-Chairs Chris Kreutz and Laura Lock, committee members, guests, sponsors, volunteers, entertainers and staff who made this evening possible.
The evening's entertainment featured a mix of road-warrior inspired fun with fire juggler Josh Routh, temporary tattoo artist from Personality Portraits, studio booth operated by GoodEye Photoshare, the artistic talents of Jen Hayes and finally party performers Lenny Klinger's Galaxy Band. On Thursday, December 9, 2010, Places for People's Executive Director Francie Broderick and State Treasurer Clint Zweifel "broke ground" on Places at Page. A ceremonial wall demolition celebrated the start of the project, which will result in 23 apartments with on-site support for people with serious mental illness.
In September 2010, Places for People's 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised over $56,000 to support core mental health services!

In June 2010, 135 people came out to celebrate at the Jewel Box in Forest Park for Blue Moon June, which raised nearly $24,000 for Community Alternatives. The evening honored the Board of Directors from 2004 responsible for moving CA from a profit to a nonprofit entity. Mina Overton was recognized as "Board Member of the Year," and Dr. Bob Caslyn received a special award for his contribution to research.
