A Celebration
Our Harvest Moon Dinner, Dance and Jazz Cabaret provided us an opportunity to celebrate the bountiful harvest of good deeds and selfless actions performed by members of the Places for People community—the staff, administration, our supporters and our board. The evening included a three-course meal, a silent auction, a live auction, and music by Jeanne Trevor, Women Under the Influence and the Fourth Friday Ensemble. The evening also gave PfP a chance to recognize several partners (St. Louis Area Foodbank, Crate & Barrel, Wexford Labs and Glideaway Manufacturing) and honor board member Robin Kolker Adkins for her dedication to the organization. St. Louis Radio Hall of Famer Dick Ulett served as the evening's emcee.
Thank you to everyone who attended the event. We also would like to express our gratitude to all of the volunteers who allowed the event to run smoothly. The evening brought in almost $15,000 for Places for People.
